In a great forest far away grows a fir tree. His home is beautiful, but when he hears his friend the robin tell stories of her travels, he yearns for adventure. One winter’s day, he is chosen to be the town’s Christmas tree, and it looks like his dreams will come true. But the robin worries. What will become of her strong, beautiful friend?
